Where we started:
My wife Amy and I opened our first salon in November 1997,
Salon 2000 (74th & S. Penn.). Then in June of 1999, we broke ground on what would soon raise the bar and expectations of the "Southside Salon" experience, West 117th Salon (just N. of 119th & S. Western Ave). Last but not least came the school. In the summer of 2005, my wife and I began the planning of what became Chad Barton's .

As a very "hands- on owner," my goal is to have graduates, stylists, salon owners, & the clients, all saying good things.
Most of the feedback from our graduates starts with a "thank you."
